Division of Water Resources
The Division of Water Resouces provides sound management of the State's water resources for proper conservation, management, regulation and control of water and watercourses.
The Division of Water Resources is a group of three Programs within the Kansas Department of Agriculture: Water Appropriation, Water Structures, and Water Management Services. The Chief Engineer serves as the director of the Division of Water Resources.
Organization
As indicated on the organization chart below, each program is divided into several work units, or teams, based on their functions.
The Secretary's Office provides administrative oversight and supporting functions through its Policy, Public Information, Legal, Fiscal, Homeland Security, and Human Resources sections.
