Government Relations
The Kansas Department of Agriculture’s government relations staff are the link between the programs of the Kansas Department of Agriculture, the Kansas Legislature, the agriculture sector, and the industries and individuals the department regulates. Staff work with elected officials, other agencies, industry and regulated entities to ensure that new policies are based on sound principles without being unnecessarily burdensome.
