Sensitive Crops

Kansas growers of sensitive and organic crops are increasingly concerned about drift damage from commonly used pesticides. To help reduce the risk of pesticide drift damage, The Kansas Department of Agriculture hosts this sensitive crop registry where growers can make their sensitive crop locations known. In turn, pesticide applicators can use this registry to identify where extra care should be taken to protect these vulnerable crops. The use of this registry is voluntary for both producers and applicators.

We are still working on improving the display of the information in this registry.  We just recently migrated the information over from the previous web site.  If you notice any errors or omissions, please let us know. Click here to email us.
