Sericea Lespedeza Disaster Declaration

The 2002 Kansas Legislature modified the noxious weed law to allow the Kansas secretary of agriculture to declare counties sericea lespedeza disaster areas, which makes public and private landowners eligible for federal funding to battle this damaging noxious weed.
