Custom Harvest Equipment

The Kansas Noxious Weed Law requires that all harvest equipment be free from all weed seed and litter before it can enter into the State or be moved from a field or farm infested with any noxious weed.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture has in place several options by which harvesters can comply with this requirement. See SOP link for Harvest Equipment below.

Harvesters may enter into an Equipment Compliance Agreement with the KDA whereby they specify the manner in which they will comply with the requirement for movement of their equipment.
