Karnal Bunt Seed Testing
Persons wishing to have wheat or triticale seed examined for the presence of Tilletia indica, the fungus that causes Karnal bunt, can collect and submit a sample for analysis. Up to ten lots of seed can be composited into one sample.
A sample submission form and sample collection and compositing instructions are available through the links below. The fee for this analysis is $50 which must be submitted with the sample.
