Kansas Pest Freedom Standards
All live plants sold in Kansas must be in compliance with pest freedoms standards established in KAR 4-15-10. Kansas has adopted a “white list” approach for regulating plant pests on live plants. This means that Kansas has established tolerance levels on pests that are already established in the state as opposed to establishing a prohibited pest list for pests that do not exist or exist in low levels.
