Plant Disease Survey and Reports

A plant disease survey and detection program was initiated in Kansas in 1975. This effort has two major functions:
- To detect exotic plant diseases of regulatory significance
- To monitor plant diseases established in Kansas
Information collected is used by program staff for a variety of purposes including, but not limited to, facilitating the export of Kansas plants and plant products and initiating mitigation activities on plant diseases that can be contained or eradicated.
Information is made available to program cooperators and other interested persons through periodic plant disease reports.
