25x'25 Initiative 

25 x '25 is a growing nationwide movement with the goal of having 25 percent of the nation's total energy needs provided by renewables by the year 2025.

The initiative is that by 2025, renewable energy from America's farms, forests and ranches will provide 25 percent of the total energy consumed in the United States, while continuing to produce safe, abundant and affordable food, feed and fiber.

Kansas is one of four states with a legislative resolution in support of 25x'25.
