Fueled by Kansas Farmers
Kansas-grown corn and sorghum are the primary sources of ethanol produced in Kansas. This fact sheet describes the current status of ethanol production in our state.
Guidelines for Blending Flex Fuels Pilot Program
The blending of fuels with ethanol percentages between 10 percent and 85 percent will be permitted on a trial basis until January 1, 2009. During this period the Kansas Department of Agriculture will monitor the equipment used to dispense the ethanol blends to ascertain that the equipment is suitable and is capable of producing an accurate measurement.
