The Middle Arkansas River subbasin has a total of 1,464 water rights with an authorized quantity of 262,657 acre-feet. There are more appropriated rights than vested rights. The average water use over the 20 year span was 158,668 acre-feet. Irrigation, stock, domestic, recreation, industrial and municipal water rights are used for this water use analysis.
