The Middle Arkansas River subbasin has a total of 1,451 water rights with an authorized quantity of 262,071 acre-feet. There are more appropriation rights than vested rights. The average water use over the 21 year span was 154,648 acre-feet. Irrigation, stock, domestic, recreation, industrial and municipal water rights are used for this water use analysis.
