Precipitation

The first chart is derived from four National Climatic Data Center weather stations. The subbasin precipitation average is 24.6 inches from 1939-2006. Rattlesnake Creek Subbasin had the highest average in 1973 and the lowest in 1939.

Historical Precipitation

The following chart is derived from six Big Bend Groundwater Management District No. 5 weather stations. In 2007, the six stations averaged 36.1 inches of precipitation and 41.73 inches in evapotranspiration.
