Upper Solomon
Multiple National Climatic Data Center stations provide the data for the precipitation chart. One station is in Studley in Sheridan County. Norton County has three stations. They are in Densmore, Lenora and Norton. Thomas County has two located in Rexford and in Mingo. Rooks County has one in Damar. There are three other stations in the subbasin. They are in Hill City in Graham County, Hoxie in Sheridan County, and Logan in Phillips. Precipitation averages 21.5 inches since 1939. The highest total was in 1993 with 33.31 inches. The lowest was in 2002 with 10.97 inches.

Lower Solomon
Several National Climatic Data Center stations provide the data for the precipitation chart. They include Phillipsburg, Kirwin, Lebanon, Smith Center, Covert, Alton, Plainville and Webster. The stations are in four counties. They are Phillips, Smith, Rooks and Osborne. The subbasin averages 23.6 inches in precipitation. The highest precipitation total was in 1993 with 42.87 inches. The lowest was in 1905 with 8.22 inches.

Mainstem Solomon
Six National Climatic Data Center stations provide the precipitation data for the chart. They are located in Barnard, Beloit, Cawker City, Glen Elder, Ionia and Minneapolis. The subbasin average 26.8 inches since 1900. The highest precipitation total was in 1993 with 48.96 inches. The lowest was in 1956 with 12.12 inches.
