Voluntary Incentive Programs
Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP)-Ground and Surface Water Program-Quick Response Area
- Voluntary program with a contract for four years, three years of payments
- Additional incentives offered to water rights located within the targeted area
- Conversion to dryland farming
- Additional points given to those willing to enter the Water Rights Conservation Program (WRCP) for ten years
- Applications can be taken at the NRCS service centers
