The Pawnee-Buckner subbasin has a total of 1,193 water rights with an authorized quantity of 242,271 acre-feet. The average water use over the 21 year span was 104,258 acre-feet. Water rights are broken into vested rights and appropriation rights. Water use includes irrigation, municipal, domestic, stock, recreation and industrial water rights.
