The Pawnee-Buckner subbasin has a total of 1,223 water rights with an authorized quantity of 249,331 acre-feet. The average water use over the 20 year span was 113,360 acre-feet. Water rights are broken into vested rights and appropriated rights. Water use includes irrigation, municipal, domestic, stock, recreation and industrial water rights.
